The place has a spacious family suite with direct access to beautiful walking trails, making it easy to explore the surrounding nature. The bathroom was palatial, and the shower was a solid highlight, probably one of the best parts of the stay.
Upon arrival, the entrance hall was cluttered, which wasn’t very welcoming, and the parking situation is tricky due to limited space—could be a hassle during busy times. creaky floorboards overhead made for some noise during the night, which was a bit annoying.

Exceptional service in a quaint setting
During my stay, I was welcomed like family by the hosts, who offered to carry my bags and greeted me by name. The picturesque room had a garden view with sumptuous furnishings, and the breakfast choices were delightfully varied, featuring high-quality local produce.
While my experience was overwhelmingly positive, the only minor issue was the somewhat limited parking space, but it did not detract from the overall enjoyment of my stay.

Creaky floorboards overhead can be annoying during late nights!!! Parking space is frustratingly limited and could become a headache during busy periods!!! The property still feels like a work in progress, so expect ongoing changes!!!

Breakfast was beautifully presented with a wide selection, showcasing high-quality local produce. Ben and the team were incredibly hospitable, offering a welcome drink upon arrival and even cooking a late supper when we arrived late, which was much appreciated. It was a lovely countryside experience, exploring local attractions, but the parking space was a bit limited, which could be a hassle during peak times. I had a fantastic stay, starting my day with a hearty breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom and a lovely sitting area. One night, I enjoyed a walk to catch the sunset. My kids found the garden quite enjoyable, filled with fairy doors. The hosts were very helpful, running me into the village for dinner.
There was a slight obstruction with some unsightly linen at the bottom of the stairs. The parking space was somewhat limited.
